Vindula has new controls for three administrative routines: assigning managers within the organization structure, defining the Feed experience, and synchronizing users with corporate directories. These changes help keep responsibilities, communication, and the access lifecycle aligned with the way the company operates.
Department and unit managers in one place
Authorized people can review departments and units with search, filters, and pagination, select the records that need attention, and prepare individual or bulk changes.
Before confirmation, the assignment center shows a preview. The operation respects permissions, organizational links, and update conflicts while preserving the history of administrative actions.
Feed with or without Inbox
The company can offer Feed with Inbox or keep Feed only. The setting applies across layouts, including mobile, and makes it clear which modes are available to employees.
When both modes are enabled, individual preferences continue to apply. If Inbox is disabled and later enabled again by the company, the employee’s previous choice can be restored.
LDAP/Active Directory and Microsoft Entra as distinct connectors
Companies that maintain people in LDAP or Active Directory can connect that source to Vindula. Organizations using Microsoft’s cloud directory can authorize Microsoft Entra. These are different connectors, but they follow a common configuration, field and value mapping, preview, and review routine before a run is applied.
Synchronization can create, update, deactivate, or reactivate users according to the configured scope. Manual or scheduled runs, pause and resume controls, and operational history help responsible teams follow the access lifecycle without scattered checks.
Greater consistency for operations
The manager assignment center reduces maintenance spread across several records. Feed configuration aligns communication with internal practices. Directory connectors bring people records and access closer to a company-managed source. Together, these improvements strengthen governance while preserving the autonomy of authorized people.
